Are You a Good Person?

Will you go to heaven when you die? Here is a quick test. Have you ever told a lie, stolen anything or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a women to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” Have you looked with lust at a man or women? Will you be guilty on Judgment Day? If you have done those things God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous adulterer at heart. The Bible warns that you will be guilty for breaking just one of these and you will end up in Hell. God sent his son Jesus to suffer and die on the cross to take the wrath of God in your place if you repent (confess and forsake your sin) and trust Jesus. On the third day Jesus rose from the grave. Please repent, trust Jesus, pray, read your Bible daily and obey it and share this message with everyone you know.  Christians are ambassadors for Christ and fishers of men.  We need to go share the good news about what Jesus did on the cross and then train up others to go out and share the gospel.  We need to read the Bible, obey the Bible and share the gospel, pray and train others to do the same.  If someone asks you a question you do not know the answer to then say I do not know and go find the answer and get back to them.

I have repented and put my faith in Jesus.  What do I do now?

If you got a bracelet and want to know the meanings of each color you can see that here:

GOLD represents God and heaven which are pure and perfect. In heaven there will not be any tears, pain or sadness. God is perfect and holy. “...and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass.” Rev 21:18 God cannot have any sin in His presence because he is Holy.

DARK represents sin and its penalty. “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Rom 3:23. Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen anything? Did you ever disobey your parents? If you have done one of these then you have broken God’s law, the 10 commandments. When you die you will stand before God. “And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,” ‭‭Heb ‭9:27‬ If you have broken any of God’s laws, then when you die you will have to pay the penalty in Hell for eternity. However, God made a way for you to get to heaven.

PURPLE represents Jesus. God took on the form of man for the forgiveness of sin and to establish His Kingdom. Jesus is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. Jesus was born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life, he never broke the 10 commandments. Jesus healed people and raised people from the dead. Jesus is “... the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.” John 1:29. Jesus is the Messiah and the answer to our sin problem.

RED represents the Blood of Christ. Jesus allowed himself to die on the cross in your place. Jesus took the full wrath of God. Jesus was buried and on the 3rd day he rose from the grave, proving his victory over sin and death. He appeared to over 500 people over 40 days and then he ascended into heaven.(1Cor 15:3-4)

WHITE represents our response. You must repent of you sin and trust Jesus paid the penalty. Confess and forsake your sin. Do you believe in the message of God saving you from your sin through the blood of Jesus Christ? Ask God to forgive you of your sin. Jesus said you must be born again. You need to be made a new creation by being filled with the Holy Spirit. After you have repented and trusted in Jesus, then your soul will be as white as snow. God will not see any of the bad things that you have done but the perfect life of Jesus on the day of judgment.

GREEN represents growth. You need to pray, read and obey the Bible radically and immediately. Go and share this message with others. We are called to be fishers of men. Go and share this same message with everyone you know. Teach others to obey God’s word which is the Bible. We are called to be disciples which means learners. We are to learn from the Bible and obey it and teach others to obey God’s word.  If you have repented and put your faith in Jesus go here next.

  • Regeneration

Regeneration is another glorious doctrine in Scripture. It is the hallmark of what it means to be a new creature in Christ. Next to the doctrine of justification, regeneration clearly depicts the work of God in helpless souls that can only be brought about by His power and mercy, not our own.   Read More...

  • Justification and the Resurrection.

One of the single greatest doctrines in Christianity is the doctrine of justification. This does not mean regeneration, sanctification, expiation, the substitionary atonement, etc., take a back seat. I simply mean that of all the doctrines, nothing can make or break how a Christian defines salvation like justification through faith alone in Jesus Christ.   Read More...

  • What is Man?

Man is a creature created of the highest earthly order in the image of God (Genesis 1:26). In the beginning, as the book of Genesis states, God made Adam from the dust of the ground, and breathed life into him (Genesis 2:7), and then created Eve from Adam’s rib (Genesis 2:22). There was no evolution from ape to man, only the miraculous and powerful hand of God at work.   Read More...

  • Running to Win

Born to RunI’m a runner. You might even say I was born to run. Though I've run several marathons and even a few ultra-marathons, I spent most of my life either running to the bottle or running from responsibility.Above all, despite having been graciously delivered one day from a nearly two-decades-long battle with alcoholism, I continued to run from God.That was, however, until one cold night in January of 2009 when Jesus’ call to repent became a deafening roar; one that I could no longer run fr...  Read More...
