April 2013

I am so encouraged to be able to share with you all that has been accomplished this month in the lives of the college students. As a fellow laborer, through your financial support, you are helping to make this all possible.

This month, we have had many great outreaches. At the beginning of the month, hundreds of tracts were handed out at the Pirates home opener. On the 27th,we spent the day at the Strip District. We handed out a few hundred tracts and had a long conversation with a young man named Nathan. We walked Nathan through the Gospel and then we were able to reason with him to show him that he had the law written on his heart and there was an absolute truth. He was challenged and walked away with many things that challenged his relativistic world view.

April 20thwe had a CCN Saturday and the students learned about true and false conversions. We practiced sharing the Gospel 1 – 2 – 1 and then went out and put that practice into use. Here are 2 pictures of the students sharing their faith.

In fellowship, we covered the following topics: Staying on the Path, where we talked about doing everything with excellence and staying on the path God has laid before us. The students were most convicted by the questions about if their life was pleasing aroma to the saved and unsaved throughout their day in class, at work and at home.

We talked about open air preaching at one fellowship and at another fellowship, the students were challenged to create their own gospel tracts and did a great job. Making Godly Decisions was covered at another fellowship.

As I normally do, I witnessed to students on the campuses on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I added a new Bible study on both days which we are calling “Questions about God” at this time. Students are invited to this Bible study during outreach so they can sit down and ask questions and learn more about God.
