A Changed Life

A Changed Life

Got a Call from a student at SRU.  I got to hear a story of a female SRU student that I had talked to a few times.  She had heard the gospel while talking to me on campus.  She realized the evil in her homosexual relationship.  She repented and placed her trust in Jesus.  She has been going to a good church all summer long.  She decided to go to a different college this year, so she would not be tempted by the LGBTQ culture at SRU.  I am so grateful to God.  She had wanted to come to my Bible Study but her roommate would not let her.  Please pray for her.

The First week in August I spent in NYC.  We had 2 days of training for the Campus Leaders and then several days of outreach.  We did many interesting outreaches on the subways.  We had several sinners anonymous meetings.   One gentlemen comes into the subway car thanking everyone for coming to the meeting.  He asks for people to give their testimony and then when no one does he gives his own.  Then he pleads with people again to stand up and give their testimony.  After a third plea one of us stands up and gives our testimony.  Here is a picture of me giving my testimony of coming to Christ.  Then two others stand up and give their testimony.  As you can see by the young lady here everyone is listening and surprised.    In the one location we did this others had almost been arrested for preaching the gospel a few days earlier and we had the same guards tell the complainers to sit and be quiet so that they could see all that would happen.    A little creativity can go a long way for finding a way to share the gospel.  Many people heard the gospel.

The parks in NYC are a wonderful place to witness.  People go to the parks to interact with others.  I had many wonderful conversations.  The two people that Leah and I are talking to here go to a church and think they are Christians however they do not believe in sin.  They did not believe that Jesus is God.  They did not believe that the Bible is the word of God.  It was a long conversation and I pray that God will cause them to repent.  I spent a good bit of time reading them scripture to disprove their points.

I was invited to attend an outreach in Cleveland.  Five churches got together to witness outside of an abortion clinic.  It was a wonderful.  There was singing and preaching.  There are so few times that many people go out and witness outside of the clinic.  I was able to talk to several people and share the gospel.  The young man you see me talking to did not think that humans go to heaven or hell.  I had him read Luke 16.  Pray that he will encounter the true living God.

This month we had the booth that you all prayed for.  Hundreds of people heard the gospel.  The churches that also normally have booths at this event were not there.  The Muslim group that had a booth last year was not there.  The Gideon's, who were there every year I was, were not there.  It seems I was not the only one they gave a hard time to.  I was the only one to stand my ground.  Because I stood strong hundreds of people heard the gospel.  Praise Jesus!
