  • Week 16 - What Does The Bible Say About... Stress?

May God bless you all as you head into the winter break and I look forward to seeing everyone in January!

  • Merry Christmas

"And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."

"And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
    (Luke 2:8-14)

Do you have peace with God this Christmas season? The only way you can get that is by pleasing God. Unfortunately, none of your good deeds will please God because "all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment." (Isaiah 64:6) This is why the Savior was born.

Jesus came to Earth, born of a virgin, and lived a perfect life. He never told lies, never stole anything, and always honored His parents. Even though Jesus didn't deserve to die, He went to the cross anyway to suffer through the punishment that we all deserve. Jesus paid your debt with His blood, then rose from the grave three days later.

Please cry out to God right now, asking Him to forgive you for every sin you've ever committed. Turn your will away from sin and turn to God by placing your faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone and what He did for you on that cross! Then, God will grant you eternal life and make you a new creation in Christ!

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (2 Corinthians 5:17) The greatest Christmas gift ever given was peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ! Receive the gift today!

  • Exam Week

    EXAM WEEK!

With this being exam week on campus, we're not going to have a Bible Study tonight. I know how stressful this week will be for all of you, so know that I am praying for you. I'll be on the campus today from 2:00 - 4:00 PM today if you need to talk or have any specific prayer requests.

On the last two episodes of Witness Radio, we discussed Demonic Possession and what to do about it! Make sure you check out Episodes 43 and 44 if haven't already done so because it's very important to know how to handle demonic forces! In the following weeks, we'll be back on the street sharing the Gospel with students and also talking about a cult that has infiltrated the University of Cincinnati!

Once all your exams are over, I hope you'll consider joining me downtown this Saturday for an evangelism outreach during the Annual SantaCon and ReinDog Parade. The outreach starts at Noon and will last for roughly three hours. If you need a ride, let me know. Check out the Facebook Event page for more information.

Lastly, if I don't see or hear from you before next semester, I pray that you'll have a happy and safe Merry Christmas!

  • The Resurrection

    BIBLE STUDY TONIGHT!

Our weekly Bible Study is every Monday at 6:00 PM. Come to the TUC Food Court and look for the big sign! This week's topic is "The Resurrection." Did Jesus really come back from the grave? Why is that so important to Christianity? Find out tonight at the meeting!

I look for students every week to be on the radio show before the Bible Study. If you want to meet up and walk with me, I set foot on campus around 4:00 PM every Monday. Call or text me (216-482-0941) if you want to help out. I could really use someone to take pictures and/or get video. (Oh yeah, send your unsaved friends my way and I might put them on a future episode!)

On the last episode of Witness Radio, we talked about Brittany Maynard and assisted suicide. Is suicide the same as murder? What would you have said to Brittany before she took the "Death" pill? Download last week's episode on the website! Did you hear anyone you recognized?

Hope to see you all tonight!

On the last episode of Witness Radio, we heard interviews from three different colleges (PITT, UC, SRU). They all have one thing in common though... Lost people! That's why we interview them on Witness Radio and share the Gospel. Did you hear anyone you recognized?

We had planned to do an outreach at Fountain Square last Friday, but I canceled it due to the rain and super cold weather. That didn't stop me from sharing my faith though (and it shouldn't stop you either)! My family and I decided to give out candy and Gospel Tracts to people during the Trick-or-Treating hours and everyone seemed to love getting "Million Dollar Bills!" If you would like some tracts to give away, just let me know! (By the way, I'll be bringing leftover candy to Bible Study tonight!)

Have you every thought about it before? Was He just a good teacher, only a simple prophet, or God in the flesh? Stop by and find out the truth about Jesus Christ, the most famous person in history!

Later this week, we'll be setting up the Prayer Stand and sharing our faith on the campus! Feel free to join in on the fun! Check the website for times and dates and don't forget to listen to Witness Radio! (Do you know the students we'll talk with this week?)

Hope to see you all Monday!

  • Does God enjoy sending people to Hell?

I've had this question asked of me in various ways while witnessing on the street by numerous people. The short answer is no, but I prefer to go back to our ultimate source, the Bible, for answers. In Ezekiel 18:32, we read, "For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn, and live."

The Bible also says, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).

God does not enjoy it when people die and go to Hell to suffer eternal torment. He would much rather see people turn away from their sin and place their trust in Jesus Christ to be saved! That's why God sent His Son to earth in the first place, to make a way for sinful people to escape Hell and enter Heaven.

So, now that you know, will you repent of your sin (turn away) and entrust your life to Jesus Christ? He died on the cross to pay for every lie, every lustful look, and every time you've used His name as a curse word. Then, Jesus rose (literally and bodily) from the grave, defeating death and Hell.

  • Welcome Back

I hope that everyone had a great summer break! What did you do during your time away from school? Was it glorifying to God? I look forward to hearing how you have impacted the world for Christ. This school year is shaping up to be awesome and I've got some great things planned for this semester. In the next few weeks, we're going to try some different times for our weekly Bible Study. Check the calendar for time and date. What times and days are best for you? Shoot me an email and let me know!

Our first Bible Study of the semester will be next Wednesday (08/27/14) at 12:30pm in the TUC Food Court. See you at school!

  • When does CCN start in Cincinnati?

If anyone is wondering what's going on for outreaches and Bible Study on a university in Cincinnati, I'm currently training to be a great CCN leader. I want this Campus in Cincinnati to be taken by storm for Christ. My desire is for the students to be equipped and edified. The goal is to start CCN activities in February. I'll keep the updates coming as I get them! God bless.
