Get out of Hell

This month I ordered get of Hell free cards. They were fun to hand out. I would ask people if they would need to use it. Some people said that they would need it and others would say that they were good enough to get to heaven. Either way I would ask them if they were a good person. It does not matter the answer I asked the same question. I asked them if they had ever told a lie? I asked if they had ever stolen anything? I tell them that the Bible says if you hate someone you have murdered them in your heart. If you lust after a person you have committed adultery in their heart. If God judged you by the 10 commandments would you be innocent or guilty? I explain that if you stood before a regular judge and broke one of his laws, you would be guilty and go to his prison. When you stand before God and you broke one of his laws you will be guilty and go to his jail, Hell.

I say if you stood before a judge and said I am so sorry I will never do that again, the judge would say you should be sorry and not do that again.  But the fine must be paid for the crime.  He says you have to pay a million dollar fine or you have to go to prison.  You cannot pay the fine.  Someone runs into the courtroom and says I love you so much I am going to pay that fine for you.  That is what Jesus did when he died on the cross.  You must repent of trusting in your goodness and your good deeds and trust that Jesus paid the fine.  Out of gratitude you will turn from breaking God’s law.  You cannot be perfect this side of heaven.

Next I explain that not only did Jesus pay the fine but he lived a perfect life and that perfect life is also credited to those that repent and trust Jesus.

Knowing this information you can witness without issue to those that are in the LGBTQ grouping just like you would anyone else.  You never have to breach issues that would bring undo offense.  You just have to show them that even without the other issues they would be guilty and in need of Jesus.

I was able to have many conversations this month with many students.  It was a wonderful month of ministry.  Thank you for your support.
