The first fellowship at PITT, which also doubled as a special event, called “Meet N’ Eat”, was a wonderful success and we had 30 students. We even had a Muslim student show up for fellowship and she heard the gospel twice: once from me during the teaching, since I always share the gospel message in the first fellowship. The second time she heard the gospel was from another Campus Leader, Amynah, who is a former Muslim. Below is a picture of our first PITT fellowship, along with a picture of one of our newest members sharing the gospel for the first time after I trained him!
We had two CCN Saturdays this month. A CCN Saturday consists of gathering for a time of prayer, worship, and the Word, which is then followed by a time of street evangelism and dinner fellowship. During the first CCN Saturday, we talked to a Christian named Jaison from Point Park College and invited him to come to our PITT CCN fellowship. Not only did he begin to hand out gospel tracts with us, he also became a committed member of CCN and attended all the fellowships at PITT! He said “being a member of CCN has taken him to a new level.” Jaison hands out tracts now as he does deliveries for his job and he attended the second CCN Saturday and witnessed 1-2-1 for the very first time!
While at the second CCN Saturday, we had dinner fellowship after going out witnessing. I asked the waitress Mindy if she had anything that we could pray for her about. She said that her car was in the shop and asked us to pray that it was only the alternator. We prayed for her and she thanked us. She came back later and told us that it did turn out to only be her alternator. I then asked if she died today would she go to heaven or hell and walked her through the law and the gospel. She said that she had not been talked to like that in a long time and she thanked me for taking the time to share the gospel message with her. She said she was going to start looking for a new church! Please pray for Mindy and her husband.
I was able to go witnessing at the University of Pittsburgh and La Roche College this month. I try to be a witness of Jesus everywhere I go. I will also be going to New Orleans with 110 other evangelists to share Jesus with those who attend the Super Bowl. Please continue to pray for us!
Thank you so much for your generous support. We will be starting a new semester of CCN at Slippery Rock University this week!
Sincere Thank You,
Campus Leader (PITT/SRU)
