I was given a wonderful opportunity to go to Paris and I took advantage of it. A friend of mine was bumming about living and being alone in Paris. She missed all her friends in the USA. I wondered if I could visit her but the prices were so expensive. In December a friend of mine told me there were Facebook ads to get to Paris for $99 each way. I realized I could afford that price. I was able to stay with a friend and encourage her. My friend ended up moving back to NYC the week that I was there so God used this trip for me to help her move back to the USA. She was grateful and did not think she could have done it without me. I found a pass for 62 Euro's so that I could see all the big attractions cheaply. I had a great time and was able to hand out about 1000 tracts. I might not be able to speak french but people took the tracts and read them.
In Paris the students took tracts without issues. By Gods grace I was by two different schools while they were being let out. I got to give tons of teenagers Gospel tracts. I had great conversations, the one gentleman told me as I took him through the good person test, that these are important questions that he had never thought about. It was a rich environment for evangelism.
I found out that the strikers in Paris stand by the exits in the metros and hand out strike information and if you stand there and hand stuff out that almost everyone takes the gospel tracts. I only needed to know "For You", "A gift" and "here you go" to hand out tracts.
I have been going down to the abortion clinics on Friday and Saturday mornings. I have been having wonderful conversations with people that just happen by. I talked to a gentleman from Africa and encouraged him to go to church. He was afraid of going to a church that has false teaching. I asked him to come to my church.
I spent a week teaching at a kids camp called Fun and Freedom. I got to share the gospel with twelve 7 year olds. I helped out with service all week as well. We made Springdale look a little prettier. I helped the kids weed and put down mulch around Springdale. It was beautiful to see how excited the kids were with the idea of getting a Bible.
