Are you joining us this Monday & Wednesday? If so, bring a friend!
The conviction in our last meeting was powerful. I don't about you, but I had to thank God for saving me so lovingly and freely.
Bible Study Fellowships:
Monday, Oct. 3rd in SC138 (6PM-8PM)
Wednesday, Oct. 5th in SC138 (6PM-8PM)
Note: We meet every Monday and Wednesday from 6PM - 8PM. You must see our calendar here (scroll down) to have the correct meeting room.
Remember to Break Out of Your Comfort Zone for our next fellowship:
At Home Preparation: Go back in your mind to your conversion experience, and try to recall the thoughts of that day. What do you think was your greatest sin? Was there a knowledge of future punishment? Think of what would have happened to you if you had died in your sins. Then write out a prayer expressing your gratitude to God for the cross. Be ready to share the letter in class.
Real World Application: Make the effort this week to practice being friendly and greeting strangers each day until our next fellowship. When you walk into the grocery store, the gas station, school, or work, give a friendly greeting to people you don't know. Although this may seem awkward, it's a very important step toward sharing your faith. Be ready to tell us how it went.
Memorize: "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."( Hebrews 9:27) "Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." (Matthew 5:27-28) Be ready to recite these scriptures in class.
