“The Lord is doing mighty work here in Pittsburgh!”

CCN President Jenifer (left) with fellow Christians congregate outside an abortion clinic in Pittsburgh

Recently over social media, a friend of Jenifer commented on one of her posts that the Lord was doing a great work in Pittsburgh. Indeed God’s work can be seen in the faithfulness of His people, many of whom serve tirelessly outside abortion clinics persuading young mother’s not to terminate the lives of their unborn children. Jenifer along with several other Christians stood outside the Planned Parenthood clinic in downtown Pittsburgh earlier this month and were elated to discover that one of the young mothers who had intended to abort her baby chose to save the child’s life instead! Praise God! In addition to championing for the unborn, Jenifer, a mother of two, can also be found proclaiming the good news to young children as well. Recently, Jenifer conducted a kids club event in her neighborhood in which eight children heard about Jesus Christ and the gospel. Please pray for the kids who attended and the young mother along with her unborn child that was saved.

The Gospel, Our Only Hope!

Campus Leader Cliff Fulwood (left) and Garret Hardy get ready to hit the streets of Pottstown

CCN Campus Missionaries took to the streets in Pottstown, PA recently to share the Gospel with many of its residents. Several good conversations took place among those with different religious backgrounds as well as opportunities for prayer. In times like these when it seems the world has plunged further into darkness, the light of the Gospel remains humanity’s only hope. Please pray for the Muslims and false converts that heard the gospel during this outreach.

The Tie That Binds

Campus Leader Gene delivering the gospel

Campus Leader Matthew Cochran and his new bride recently joined together in holy matrimony. Before the wedding took place, as you could imagine, there were months of planning in between. Included in those plans, however, was an unconventional request by the groom for longtime friend and Campus Leader Gene Henderson to preach the gospel at his wedding. Looking to make the most of this opportunity and for the glory of the Lord, Gene obliged Matt’s request and gave the guests in attendance not only something to think about but the chance also to become part of Christ’s bride, that is the church, through repentance and faith in Him. Congratulations to Matt and Elizabeth! May the Lord bless you and keep you and may you be fruitful and multiply!

Team Effort

They say “teamwork makes the dream work”. If it is the dream or goal of fellow believers to see their lost neighbors be found then what better way to accomplish this than through a collaborative effort with local churches. Christian Collegian Network teamed up this month with Harvest Fellowship, a local church in Pottstown, PA to reach the lost with the life-saving message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through a combined effort these teams took to open-air preaching, one-to-one witnessing, as well as the distribution of gospel tracts. Please pray for this partnership and all those involved in reaching the lost for Christ.

As you can see the Lord continues to move through the ministry and the people involved in CCN. And wonderful partnerships with local churches as well as fruitful outreaches continue to flourish because of your support. Thank you for your prayers and for your gracious giving to this ministry.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you!
