  • As followers of Christ, remember that we are "sojourners"

The Bible often reminds us as followers of Christ that we are "sojourners", "pilgrims" (1 Peter 2:11-12), strangers in a strange land if you will.  And last month's outreach booth at the Mars Apple Festival in Mars, PA was no exception. (They literally have a spaceship in the middle of their town!!)

Here Dennis, Assistant Campus Leader at Pitt, is speaking with a woman at our booth sharing with her the gospel of Jesus Christ.  While we have the wonderful privilege of doing so and meeting many different people along the way, one common thread we've noticed running through each person regardless of race, color, creed, or religion is the erroneous belief in goods works as a means for one's salvation.  To which we continually point to the finished work of Christ on the cross and to Bible passages such as Ephesians 2:8,9.

Andre, Leader of Discipleship with CCN, took his youth group out again this month to share the gospel in the streets of Pottstown, PA.  Both Andre and Campus Leader Cliff (not shown) have been faithful to share the gospel in that area for years.  Please pray for a revival in that town and may God be glorified!

Slippery Rock University Campus Leader Matthew met with a young man that came and sought him out him.  The student wanted to meet with Matt and see what he was doing on campus.  Matthew then proceeded to graciously walk him through the gospel.  During their discussion Matthew became aware that the young man possessed some un-biblical views.  So he spent the remainder of the time showing him what the Bible says rather than what the student thought it says.  Matt reminded the young man that Jesus was upset with the Sadducees and Pharisees, the religious leaders of His day, because they put the the traditions of men above the word of God.

CCN President Jenifer spoke with a young man recently named Harry at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).  Harry asked some of the most often asked questions a person could ask such as:

    • How do you know there is a God?
    • How do you know which God?
    • Is it the word of God with all those different versions of the Bible?
    • Which God do you believe in the one of the New Testament or the Old Testament? Why did God kill everyone but Noah?
    • Why did God kill all the people before Israel took over?
    • Why does God let bad things happen?

Jen was able to give him answers to all of his questions and Harry was happy to finally get an answer to all them!  Afterwards, Jen gave him a Bible and a book called "The Gospel of God" to encourage this young man to seek after God.  Harry also took her card and said he was going to read through the Bible.  Please pray for Harry.  This was truly a wonderful conversation!

CCN exists for the purpose of proclaiming Christ while warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may "present every man perfect in Christ Jesus" (Col. 1:28).

Because of your partnership with this ministry God is answering prayers and providing the necessary resources needed in order for us to carry out the Great Commission.  Thank you once again for your faithfulness to the gospel in ensuring that it is being preached unto every creature (Mk.16:15)!

  • New Partnership with Let Creation Sing

CCN is excited about a new partnership with Let Creation Sing.

    Joint Statement

Announcing Let Creation Sing & Christian Collegian Network

Partnership to Get Creation In College

    Hello Friends,

We are excited to help train students up to be leaders in the creation science community. We are looking forward to the many avenues that the Lord will provide to those who are faithful hearers of The Word and whom have humble hearts to receive wisdom. In this we look forward to God placing students into local communities to assist local operations that they might be prepared to one day have the baton of leadership passed to their generation.

This partnership will enable us to gain access to college campuses across the United States of America where doors are opening for students to hear The Truth of Creation and The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether this is through inviting speakers onto college campuses, training students through apologetics, or offering other resources such as assistance in getting creation science materials into the college campuses; we know that this is a yearning that the Lord has given us all, let us pray that He might prepare hearts to hear His Word.

Statement from Let Creation Sing Staff

We wanted to let you know about an exciting opportunity that the Lord has presented to our network. We have had the opportunity to partner with a college ministry that focuses on creation science, evangelism of the lost, discipleship of the saved and the complete Gospel message! The team at Christian Collegian Network is burdened with seeing Jesus Christ glorified through shining His light into this dark world that the lost might be saved and those who have professed Jesus Christ as Savior and submitted to His Lordship would grow in their relationship with Him as they are guided by His Word and sustained by His Spirit.

Our partnership with CCN will allow students across the country to have access to service-learning opportunities through apprenticeships, internships, and volunteer opportunities from network members such as your organization. Enabling them to take what they have learned and apply it on the college campus as they share The Truth of Creation and The Gospel of Jesus Christ with their fellow students.

There are even opportunities to help your local community get creation science onto college campuses. The team at Christian Collegian Network is always praying about where God might lead them next in their mission to reach this lost and dying generation, as well as what communities are readied with believers who desire to serve their local campuses.

To this end, CCN has made resources available for network members to help local communities get involved in college outreach. Together we are excited to share about all the opportunities students have to serve local museums and ministries across the nation and even lead tours of secular museums with the arsenal of Biblical Truth that God can impart to them through each of us.

Statement from CCN President Jenifer Pepling

CCN is praising Jesus for this new partnership with The Creation Science Alliance and all the opportunities that it will create. CCN is committed to proclaiming the full truth of God’s word. We use Biblical Evangelism to easily and Biblically share the gospel. We are training up college students to be the next generation of soul winning leaders.

The professors on the campuses use their lecterns as pulpits to preach atheism, when on campuses we hear time and again while witnessing that the students believe in evolution and thus they do not believe in God. To this end, CCN is committed to training the college students of today to share their faith with people through truths of God's Word and to build up their faith through the understanding of apologetics and creation science.
