I am thankful for your support. October was a great month! Students have had several breakthroughs this month.
In the CCN fellowship, I shared with the students about becoming committed to CCN. I also stressed the importance of going to church. We discussed how we need to be in fellowship. The result is that we now have students attending church that were not before!
This month, I taught on true and false conversions. A Freshman at PITT responded to the teaching by turning away from listening to preachers who share a false gospel. She decided that making sure the preachers you are listening to are sound teachers is very important. We learned that the most dangerous false teachers were those that taught things closest to the truth.
One of my greatest joys was watching the students learn how to share our faith this month. I taught on overcoming the fear of man and discussed what we had to lose compared to what those dying without Christ had to lose. Most of the students that are consistent in coming to fellowship have gone out with me witnessing! The gospel is being proclaimed by college students! I am so proud of their growth and cannot wait to see what will happen in the future. You are a co-laborer through prayer and financial giving and I pray that these praise reports also bring you incredible joy!
PS – Next month, I am traveling with students to New Jersey for the CCN Women’s Overnight Retreat. I am one of the speakers. Will you please pray for us? I look forward to sharing with you more testimonies about how the Lord changed the life of the female college students.
I was also able to drive to West Virginia to help another laborer in Christ share the Gospel with 3000 students at WVU this past month. Tamera was very grateful for my help. She had signed up to hand out 3000 DVD’s with the Gospel on them and did not have anyone but her husband to help her. She was so grateful that I was able to go and help her share the Gospel.
I was also able to share the Gospel in Market Square this month. A Choir was in town from Russia and a friend of mine, Beth set me up with them. They sang several songs and I was able to share the Gospel with the audience they gathered between their singing. It was a very beautiful event. I was so grateful to be able to share the Gospel with so many in such a small amount of time. The Choirs singing was just beautiful.
