AJ did not want to take a tract but the light was red so I asked him if he was a good person. I walked him through the law and when I asked him if he would go to hell he said he did not think so because the Bible was not relevant. He said. "they just wrote down what they could because they lacked science." I told him that murder and lying was wrong 6000 years ago and it is wrong today. If a women cheats on her husband he is going to be jealous and mad. It does not matter if they are wearing sandals in the desert or sneakers in the modern city, people’s interactions are the same. I explained that morals and logic do not change. He stood there through several red lights. Pray for AJ. The conversation ended with him saying he did not want to go to hell and he thanked me for doing God’s work. AJ heard the gospel.
It has been a wonderful year at SRU. Since I have been sitting on the stool I have had many more conversations. I have had many more second and third conversations with students as well. Most of the semester I have had atleast three of us witnessing at SRU. It was a wonderful encouragement to have the three of us on campus each week. Matt is not sure if he will be staying in PA this year so I am taking over SRU again. I taught about half the time on the campus this semester. I realized how much I enjoy teaching since I did not do it a much this past semester.
At IUP, I had many wonderful conversations. The students at IUP are very kind and open to the gospel. It has been a joy to spend time on the campus talking to the students. I love that most of the time Ed and Zane are on campus as well. Having them there is such and encouragement.
I have spent most of this month working on the CCN internals like the website www.changeyourcampus.com. I created new forms for the campus leaders to use. I planned out the next semester on the college campuses, as well as the outreaches. I created new business cards and CCN informational cards for this next year. I updated our fundraising information for the ministry. I had a campus leader step down so that he can spend more time with his family, so I had to take over the social media for the ministry. You can see it on Instagram at ChangetheCampus and on Facebook at changeyourcampus.
Thank You for partnering with me during 2018. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
