September 2014 CCN Praise Report

  • Religion Makes No Sense

    By Jenifer Pepling

I recently talked to a gentleman that said he did not believe in heaven or hell. I asked him why. He stated that he is a religious studies major and said that none of them made sense. I said "so justice doesn't make sense to you?" I explained the justice of God.

I shared the gospel and the gentleman said that he did not like the God of the Old Testament because he was homosexual. He said he was shot at in his home town and God made him this way so how could he say that was wrong. I explained that homosexuality is a sin and he told me that word did not exist. I said that even though that word did not exist at the time, you understand what the Bible means by "If a man lies with a male as with a woman." (Leviticus 20:13)

Sadly, he walked away saying we should agree to disagree. Please pray for him.

September 2014 CCN Praise Report

Thank You!

The month of September flew by as Jenifer taught new and exciting things on her campuses. She taught, "Apologetics to the glory of God" by John Frame and the students loved it. Two professors have also been joining CCN for Bible Study every week. Here is Lilly and Benny trying out the Optical Illusion tracts.

Steve (pictured below) has been joining CCN for outreach and Bible Study. Here is a picture of him handing out his first gospel tract! Jen loves teaching people to share their faith.

CCN at Montgomery County Community College aka. MC3 had a great month of September! Below is a picture of a fellowship with a lesson entitled, "Why Study The Bible?" New students showed up to learn about the importance of studying the scriptures.

At Slippery Rock and Univ of Pitt, Jenifer has been continually able to use the IQ test to witness to students. It's a great conversation starter & a wonderful tool to get students engaged. Here, a student is going through the IQ test. He also heard the gospel afterwards, of course.

CCN Campus Leader, Timothy, is teaching Chowan students about Christian Collegian Network and Biblical Evangelism. Please pray that more laborers will be raised up from this campus. The harvest is great!

Below, CCN Campus Leader, Jake, is reaching out to the lost at his local abortion clinic. The two laborers beside him are his two sons. It's never too early to train a child to share their faith.

Thank you so much for your faithful partnership with CCN. Your donations have been used to purchase gospel tracts, bibles, rent booth spaces, and other very important ministry needs.

Please consider sharing this page with others so that more people can team up with Christian Collegian so that we can reach more people with the gospel!

Thank You and God Bless,

Christian Collegian Network
