Update July 2013

  • CCN's mission is bearing fruit

    CCN's mission:

    • 1. Evangelism, winning the lost to Christ on the campus and beyond.
    • 2. Discipleship, building up young Christians to stand on solid theology.
    • 3. Equipping and training Christians to win others to Christ and build up others.
    • 4. Sending them out to repeat the process.

Several years ago I was witnessing at Slippery Rock University.  I witnessed to a young man named Matthew.  He was very excited that I was sharing my faith.  He said that no body was doing this.  Matthew started going to the CCN Bible Study and was encouraged to share his faith in a biblical manner.  After he graduated he became a missionary.  Recently he joined CCN as a missionary.  I could not be more over joyed to tell you that Matthew will be trained at SRU as a campus leader for CCN.

This is a fulfillment of the CCN mission.  I am asking you to partner with CCN financially monthly so that we can continue to Evangelize, Disciple, Equip and send out Christians.

Update July 2013

Earlier this month CCN helped out at Jersey Fire. We were able to encourage and teach several people to open air preach for the very first time. One of the families contacted us afterward to get information about going out to their local abortion mill because they were inspired. Here is a picture of two people that preached for the very first time.

We have spent a great deal of time preparing for our Leader Ship summit this month. We are training up all of the Campus Leaders about being Leaders in our new reformed CCN. We are very excited to move forward with Biblical evangelism on the Campus’s this coming semester.

Repent and Witness is a 4 day mission’s trip to NYC at the beginning of August. We are very excited about this year’s event. CCN has spent many hours preparing for this missions trip. We have added a new location where we will be witnessing. We are also changing the location that we are staying. Years in the past we have seen God work in amazing ways at this event and we are praying that will be the case again this year. I cannot wait to send you an update in September.

I have been laboring for many years at a local abortion clinic. I found out this month that 4 years ago I stopped a woman from having an abortion and now there is a little 4 year old little girl in the world that God used me to save. God is so good. Sometimes we never know how God has used us but, sometimes God gives us a glimpse into what he is doing.

Yesterday I saw a testimony from one of the CCN graduates that went out with her family and others to share the gospel. I am so grateful that so many CCN graduates continue to share their faith after college.

This month I had a booth at a local community days.  We give away stuffed animals that people have donated to people that take the good person test.  Here is a picture of people waiting in lines to hear the gospel.  We have been doing this for years and get invited back to the community days.  Here is a picture of this months community day.

A Big Thank You to our donors none of this is possible without them.
