  • The Reality of Hell

Our weekly Bible Study is every Monday at 6:00 PM. Come to the TUC Food Court and look for the big sign! This week's topic is "The Reality of Hell." Why do so many people not believe in Hell? Is there any truth to the "Lake of Fire" or was it made up to scare people? Find out tonight at the meeting!

I look for students every week to be on the radio show before the Bible Study. If you want to meet up and walk with me, I set foot on campus around 4:00 PM every Monday. Call or text me (216-482-0941) if you want to help out. I could really use someone to take pictures and/or get video. (Oh yeah, send your unsaved friends my way and I might put them on a future episode!)

Previously on Witness Radio, we ran into people who didn't believe in God. Atheists are prevalent on college campuses across the nation, as you could see from last week's show. They profess to be intellectual, but we showed from the Bible that they're actually foolish to not believe in God. Did you hear anyone you recognized?

Lastly, we're planning to "hit the streets" and share our faith OFF-CAMPUS this coming Friday. It's Halloween and we're going to Fountain Square for a costume contest! Prepare to hand out tracts, engage in witnessing conversations, and pray for those in attendance. The event begins at noon and we'll meet up at the fountain.

Hope to see you all tonight!

  • Does God enjoy sending people to Hell?

I've had this question asked of me in various ways while witnessing on the street by numerous people. The short answer is no, but I prefer to go back to our ultimate source, the Bible, for answers. In Ezekiel 18:32, we read, "For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn, and live."

The Bible also says, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).

God does not enjoy it when people die and go to Hell to suffer eternal torment. He would much rather see people turn away from their sin and place their trust in Jesus Christ to be saved! That's why God sent His Son to earth in the first place, to make a way for sinful people to escape Hell and enter Heaven.

So, now that you know, will you repent of your sin (turn away) and entrust your life to Jesus Christ? He died on the cross to pay for every lie, every lustful look, and every time you've used His name as a curse word. Then, Jesus rose (literally and bodily) from the grave, defeating death and Hell.
