What is the Gospel?

Scriptures that go over the gospel.  They are from ESV.  These are great scriptures to read before you open air preach.

1 Cor 15:3-6 “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. “

Gal 1:8-9 “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.”

Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Romans 5:8  but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 8:32 “He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?”

2 Cor 8:9 “or you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.”

1 Tim 1:15  The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.”

1 John 4:10 “In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

Rev 5:9 “And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, or you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God  from every tribe and language and people and nation,”
