I do not believe in God.

When you look at a building how do you know there was a builder?  What about painting, how do you know there was a painter?  The existence of a painting is proof there is a painter.  Similarly, the existence of a building is proof there was a builder.  Buildings don’t just build themselves!  Likewise, when you look at creation there is proof there is a Creator.  You cannot get everything from nothing. If you have a bank account and do not put any money into it then you will not earn any interest.  Nothing can create itself.  It would have to exist first to create something.  The universe cannot create itself. There must be a Creator.  If there is no God and you do not have a spirit or a soul then all your thoughts are nothing but chemical reactions.  If I were to take a bottle of Coke and Sprite and shake them up, then open the top on each one there will be a chemical reaction and the foam will go everywhere.  Which chemical reaction is morally right and which one is morally wrong the Coke or the Sprite?  You must be thinking that is a stupid question. After all, chemical reactions cannot be morally right or wrong.  The issue is that if you are nothing but random chemical reactions then you are a bunch of chemical reactions telling someone else that your helical reactions are more logical or moral than their chemical reactions.  You know there is a right and a wrong. That is because you were made in the image of God.  He has written his law on your heart. You know you will stand before him when you die.  How will you do on the day of judgment? If you’ve ever lied, stolen, used God’s name carelessly, or looked with lust you have broken God’s Law and are seen as a lying thief, a blasphemer, and an adulterer at heart.  If you stand before God you will be guilty and go to hell.  Unless someone was able to pay your fine then you could go free.   That is what Jesus did when he died on that cross.  He took the full wrath of God in your place and then rose from the grave.  Today, repent and trust Jesus.
